The podcast La Filoxera, featuring Julián Palacios, Irene Guede, and Gonzaga Santesteban, blends expertise in vineyards, journalism, and academic viticulture. It includes segments on viticultural history, technical terms, scientific news, and discussions on vineyard practices.

La Podas Olvidadas

Las Podas olvidadas  is a documentary that tells the story of passionate and resilient vine growers. This project was produced by Gonzaga Santesteban and Julián Palacios, and directed by Irene Guede. It received international recognition, winning the OENOVIDEO 2018 Award from the French Winegrowers’ Magazine in Paris.

La Guía de buenas prácticas de poda de la vid

This visual and interactive guide uses short videos to teach how to prune vines without compromising plant longevity. It focuses on common training systems like bush vine (vaso), Royat cordon, and Guyot — though the core principles apply to other systems as well.

Translation of the book by Futuro Viñador

The Spanish version of the book Bonnes pratiques de taille et techniques curatives contre les maladies du bois by François Da was adapted and expanded for Spanish vineyards by Julián Palacios, Bárbara Sebastián, and Roc Gramona.
This edition includes a reflection titled “Our Traditional Vineyards: Living Examples of Good Pruning Practices.”

Manifesto against the Authorization of Resistant Hybrid Varieties

This manifesto questions the introduction of hybrid varieties in viticulture, warning about their potential effects on biodiversity, tradition, and vineyard identity. It aims to spark an informed debate.

El escarabajo Verde. Vino S.O.S

In the RTVE program Vino S.O.S. (Green Beetle), Julián Palacios shared his expertise on sustainable vine care. Using a regenerative viticulture approach, he discussed strategies to mitigate climate change impacts on vineyards.

Participation in “Basajaun”

Teknopolis
